At 6am this morning I was in a packed Imax screen watching The Dark Knight Rises. To celebrate I drew a sketch of the first interpretation of Batman I saw back when I was a kid, the 60’s TV show.

Another film related sketch, saw a film preview of ‘The Imposter’, a documentary which is released in the UK on 24th August. I don’t want to say too much about it as it would spoil the surprise but you should check it out.

One of the few sunny days we have had I ventured down to the park to do some drawing. Saw one of the lesser amorous couples sunbathing and really liked the way their bodies were positioned so I made a quick sketch. Fortunately they were very chilled so didn’t move about much

‘Banbury Cross’ pic ref, pencil
First up it’s the ‘bulletproof blonde’ Miss Banbury Cross, one of best Burlesque performers around. Very happy how this turned out, the blue colour really adds something to the graphic quality of the sketch.
